Civil Service Board
Purpose
Functions as an administrative agency performing quasi-judicial functions when necessary. It ensures employment actions for Civil Service employees of the Sheriff's Office are based on merit, efficiency, character, and length of service; it is free from political or other improper influence; and all employment rules, regulations, policies, and procedures are applied fairly and consistently to all applicable employees.
