Purpose

The purpose of the COA is to advise the BOCC on programs controlled by the BOCC for older adult program purposes. It shall also act in an advisory capacity so that the BOCC may: identify the needs of older adults within the community; review needed services for older adults, both public and private; encourage coordination among organizations providing services to older adults in the community and provide advice and assistance there; collect, maintain, and interpret information and statistics on older adults for use of citizens and organizations in Johnson County; and any other functions and duties as directed by the BOCC.

Location: Room 1070/1075 at the Sunset Drive Office Building, located at 11811 S. Sunset Drive, Olathe, Kansas
